Health Care and other Services

In our opinion, the national health system in Spain is second to none. In Denia a new state of the art hospital has recently been opened, its facilities are top of the range and it caters for all of the surrounding areas.  There are plenty of healthcare clinics to choose from including a 24 hour accident and emergency unit. With Javea and Moraira being so popular with ex pats, there is also the option of many private clinics, which speak English and many other languages. Some people prefer the private clinics as the language at the Spanish clinics can be a barrier, but others opt for the Spanish clinics as they are free and private clinics do make a charge.

Legal Advice

Being situated in an area with a large population of English ex pats there is an abundance of English speaking lawyers, solicitors, accountants and other specialists who can offer advice from investments and taxes to buying a house.
